just my 2 cent input bro

1) it was a costly affair as you've paid the sum to the 2nd owner and then failing the puspakom ispection

now the items that can be done is

do you have the transaction receipts to prove that money have been paid to the 2nd unofficial owner ??

If yes then a police report could be made against the 1st and 2nd owner ....

but then before doing so perhaps you should try to locate the 1st owner ....as it could be his relatives or friends and so on ...

Ai yoo, he is passing he buck to an unsuspecting customer....

That can be difficult. With no proper documents, the legal means is also very difficult....

But then again, if you can get the car out, parting the car might be able to get you back some cash....

chaos, ever tried talking to the seller?

I did but sadly the problem is the second owner never changed name and he's blaming the first owner. Wants me to kautim with the first owner...

That gonna be difficult. Gave me an address but said lost phone number already. That gonna be trouble. Some kampung damn far a way too...[/quote]

Managed to get most of the money back in return for giving back car. Not the most optimal conditions but better than nothing. Scared of getting another 2nd hand car now.

Still wanting to get a E30 though... but seems like most sellers never bother to send their car to puspakom in the first place. Many expect the buyer to kaotim. Too much head ache right now... At least something partially solved... Thanks for the tips everyone.

Glad to know that at least you got most of your moolah back... Lessons learned here folks. So take heed the next time you transact. Happy hunting if you are still game...
