As there are some queries, I am starting this thread to gauge the interest. I am planning to arrange a bi-weekly golf game as followsay: Every alternate SaturdayTime: Morning (tee off by 8am)Venue: Monterez GCC (so those new to the game can also 'turun padang' instead of just DR warrior)FYI, I already have a weekly Sunday golf group. After u hv shot 36 on back nine over last weekend's game...u sure ur classified as h/cap 16 ah...typo error issit...more like h/cap 6...btw ur not invited to Monterrez as it will be sheer torture playing with newbies like us lawei...

BTW, sorry to hijack this thread but I think some golfers maybe interested.

There is a PRO-AM tournament organised by TNB this Saturday 8am (16/4/10) at Kinrara Golf Course, entrance fee RM200, can play with Malaysian professional golfers (and support them as well, since at present there is some legal tussle over the legality of their professional body).

Slow play is a no no. That is something I have noticed with beginners, more so when addressing before hitting and putting. Read the lines, when others are putting and that will help to speed up play.

Newbies play with newbies, better golfers play together then everyone will have fun
