HiWhere else can I purchase the DVD for the BMW navigation system other than from BMW/Auto Bavaria itself ? Anybody can share some light is very much appreciated.

I have for the I-Drive (E90 & E60) and CD/DVD MKIII & MKIV (E46) that feature our local street maps.

SAT NAV system for E46 can be source easily. Not sure for other models though.

The BMW Sat/Nav for E46 will fit all prefacelift / facelift models.

You need to buy the monitor (16:9 widescreen) with tape deck or cd dash, MKIV (preferably) which is the brain unit, BM53/54 the radio tuner, complete wiring harness and also all the required brackets.

With these set up, you'll get radio, cd and navigation. If you need to watch tv/dvd, you'll have to get the TV tuner, with its harness of course.

I've personally retrofit this onto my yr2000 E46 and so does a few of my fellow udmowners.

Budget approx RM8k onwards...ebay can be your first source or some forums such as e46fanatics/m3forum etc

You have it for MKIV? (not iDrive)

many times discussed in this forum. Jap sat nav does not run in malaysia. its a completely different system.

for your jap spec radio, this this fix that i found in another forum, try if it works in your car

for your nav system, as i said above I dont think it'll work in malaysia, apart from maybe changing the nav computer in the back of your car. dunno what else is required to make it work, maybe someone else could advice. As per your current setup, it'll not work whatever you do.
