Went there on last 2 month as well, my client bought the same car too E36 320i - Japan Spec, cost him USD100k, cause need to pay undertable money USD20k to bring from Siam :stupid: NOT to forget that they need to pay CASH !!! :eek:

The car below cost them USD80k....:eek:

Yea...indeed:banghead:!! I went there right after the 1st bomb blasted...sh*t...and my company is good enough to ask me not to go out from the Hotel area instead canceling off the trip....&*^@(#&^....:rolleyes:

Anyway, below picture will tell a thousand words for those ppl out there that can't live without internet..:wink:

i thought Malaysia is the most expensive place to buy a car?

USD80K for an E36.. Shoot, I should have sold mine there. I could easily by an E90 325 with that... haha

What a pity for him over there. HERE ..... a drug seller can own a brand new 7 series.
 
haha, yes affan, i do think of it. maybe my next trip there will nego with the black market guy.. haha.. to register simcard for mobile phone it cost about usd3000, crazy country there.

Try to nego for my car. Willing to sell very cheap(in Myanmar lar) Itchy to get an M3 or M5:love:

Besides Thailand, the rest of Indochina is still backward in terms of everything mordern.

They buy cars and homes cash and they cost a lot due to lack of regulation and competition. U want it, this is the price, that sort of thing. Those who are rich as super rich, while the poor are ultra-poor.

There's no loan facilities from the banks for hire-purchase of homes and cars for the normal people. Banks mainly provide loans for commercial businesses only. Imagine us having this in Malaysia, sure everyone will be riding bikes and bicycles to work.

With their present economic predicament, can you blame them for trying each and everytime to rip you of your US Dollars when u are over there as a foreigner? I had my fair share of experience with these practices doesn't matter it's food, buying stuff, taxi etc.What to do, their objectives are to take your buck.
