Shucks! I can't seem to insert the images from my Picasa Album. Anyways, these are picts of the Coops and Albundy's E36. The fellas you see are Alvin, BmFive, Traveller and Cobra Kai, the latter 2 of proud owners of E90 325i Sports Package!

Guess which one reached the top first and which one, dead last! Heh! The white E60 was very much the convoy leader! Fierce rite?!

Getting into formation but running out of space to fit all the cars! Nice scenic pict of the GTis. I wonder if I can sell that to VW for their marketing!

Very good!

I must say today's drive is wonderful. We have mixture of "good" cars! This is what we want it to be! Although the drive is pretty short (all in about 3 hours plus from start till end) and is done in a kinda of rush way but overall I feel it is still a nice drive for everyone.

I have never expected the Hartamas group to arrive at our 2nd Batu Caves point in time. Gosh, you guys must be driving real fast from Hartamas.

I love our lead car (E60 530i), the STi of course and also those Golf GTIs that are giving me some motivation in the drive! Same to those minis! hehehe...

We spent so much time getting in formation. Reason; too many of us larr…. So many cars and can’t get a nice spacious parking area for all our cars to take some nice shots. Well, this shows this unofficial drive event turns out to be so happening. Thanks to everyone who came today and nice meeting everyone of you. Though it is a short event and kinda rush, but it is worth it. We have fun. Simple and nice drive!

Oh yeah, I guess everyone is waiting for Albundy to post those pictures he has taken using his nice big camera. Thanks Albundy! For those who have taken pictures, pls post it up too to share with us.

Good trip and we shall organize more in the future :)

Nice shots JPB..looks like a fun trip with the variety of cars and of course the 2 garang birds of prey

Waiting impatiently for others to post their pics :top:

Rookie, you have really missed the fun bro for our 2nd meet at Hartamas and our drive event today! But no worries, there is always another time. Today's drive is really a simple and fun one :)

There were a total of 16 cars in the end, the car which I thought was most prominent was Eeric's new STi. Alvin's white E60 led quite a fast trio of 6 E90s, 1 E92, 3 Golf GTis and 3 Mini Coopers while Albundy's E36 played sweeper until the STi showed up and he gave chase!

Oh... I was dead last!

Nope it was a total of 17 cars! They were Eeric's new STi, Alvin's white E60, Albundy E36 Turbo, 7 E90s, 1 E92, 3 Golf GTis and 3 Mini Coopers.

And you were dead last and keep on went missing during the drive, giving us hard time to find the E92! :thefinger: hehehe....

Yeah. A lot of stories to share from this trip. I particularly liked how I "heard" the STi and instinctively gave way b4 he appeared out of no where and made his way up to the front followed by Albundy's E36 Turbo. Mr. Albundy was smiling ear to ear throughout the chase! That left me with Rimsukan flanking the rear guard which was nice cos we had a bit more space and could spare the brakes.

Although I was dead last, I felt very good with my car. The balance and grip levels was first class, the steering was perfectly weighted, direct and accurate, and my "detuned" engine was quite free-revving to spice things up. I was impressed that in Sports mode, the transmission did everything I wanted it to do. All this merely compounds what I've been attesting, that the E90s are a vast improvement over the E46s which wiggled a lot when I last used it on this route. Eeric did teased me though that I was taking care of my car too much instead of max-ing, hahaha!! Well, what to do, it's only done less than 6,000 mileage. I would be more daring at 60,000, I guess!

I was impressed that everyone was quite courteous despite being pretty fast i.e. giving way to overtaking cars and slowing down at town areas! I wonder how the E90 330i did in front?

Where are the other picts?!

KL2DC, if you're seeing this, thanks for inspiring us to do better all the time. DY, thanks for making this happen and last but not least, Alvin, Albundy, Eeric, Jason and the rest of the GTis and Coops for adding some spice and flavor to this fun occassion! I must also thank DY's wife for drawing up the blueprints for how to park all the cars in a U-shape for the photo session.

BTW, is Albundy's E36 a self-shifter?

Guys excellent pics. Very nice group and segmented shots. Clarity is wonderful. Certainly senor' albundys shots will be even more furious.

It was somewhat intimidating being the only 320'er there. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful experiece high revving thru one quick corner after another.

The drive down, albeit much shorter, had emaculate sweeping curves that were irresistible. I couldnt keep my foot off the accelator. Sure beats driving to port klang :p

Thank you chaps (Nadeem/David) for the early morning wake up reminders or i would have missed a fun meet.

Cheers !

Wow... great seeing such a wonderful collection of cars together!
It's turning me on in a strange way.... haha

More pics for the rest of us to enjoy pls :D

I believed other than the mini coopers, mine has the lowest engine capacity. It was David vs Goliath la!

Yet again, most fellas know it's not a "normal" E36 you have there!

I beg to differ.... e90 320i with less than 150BHP :p

Wow... nice gathering of cars. Looks like all the cars were forced fed, except for the E90s and lone E60 hehe.
