Just got to know that a member of my wife's extended family has been diagnosed with a life threatening illness.We need to go up to Ipoh this weekend to see him.

Who volunteers to be the photographer? Aiks! did we extend an invite to Albundy? DY, as the E90 el-presidente, can you please invite him formally? He can give us useful tips and got a big-ass camera! Also, he might know of "interesting" places to visit on the way, heheh!

The way from DSH will be via Jln Duta > Jln Kuching > MRR2 > Batu Caves.

So guys, I believe only three of us (Rimsukan, Frankie & myself) will be meeting you guys at the second meeting point i.e after the Batu Caves rail line. We will be there around 7.20am to 7.30am. So you guys better meet up earlier at Hartamas and we will wait for you guys k. Yahoooo.... we are going for a nice convoy trip and for those who missed it..... too bad for you! hehehehe....

We will have mixture of machine i.e. 1 unit of E92, 7 unit of E90, 1 unit of E36, 1 unit of E30 M3, 5 units of mini cooper & 2 units of golf gti.

Hehehe... I'm the first here after the drive, so I'll report my version of events! I had a lot of fun! There were a total of 16 cars in the end, the car which I thought was most prominent was Eeric's new STi. Alvin's white E60 led quite a fast trio of 6 E90s, 1 E92, 3 Golf GTis and 3 Mini Coopers while Albundy's E36 played sweeper until the STi showed up and he gave chase! I hope everyone had fun even though it was a bit of a rush and I hope the presence of some Ulu Yam regulars helped to give a sense of what to expect and what to do. There's a few other routes to try and since this first drive was such a success, I can't wait for the next one. Pictures coming up next.
