Make sure you guys do it after 5000km - 7000km!!I learnt an expensive lesson today. My car has done 28000km and never had any alignment shit done coz I didn't frigging know. My front run flats were worn at the sides, BMW confirmed it's the alignment. So had to replace it.Replaced mine at Lim Tyres for RM1100 per piece. Keep bleeding, keep keep bleeding.

a good reminder is to immediately perform balancing/alignment after each oil change.

Doing it every 10k...had the same horrific lesson on my previous car where need to replace all 4 rubbers within 7 months (18inches) sakit! sakit!

It was done when the car was delivered that was around 2k clocked...i did it again when it clocked 7k after found the steering wheel was not centre..probably due to some of my spirited drives, did high speed balancing as well and now its:top:

mine is like quikflyer. lasted 28000 km...front tyres worn more than rear. and botak at the side of the front tyres. normally i changed my tyre at around 35-40k km or around 2 yrs.

why? no alignment and tyres never rotate every 8000-10000km....that's why tyre worn out unevenly. Although I had 2 services at BMW, they never done that. So, next time you send your car for service, better ask them to do. u think your car is taken care by specialist at BMW? nayyyyy!

anyway, while shopping for RFT, i found 1 month old RFT...almost new. the guy changed the rims together with the RFT. So I grab it at RM500 a piece. so far so good.

i plan to do alingment+balancing at the AutoBavaria dealer, Pirellis...are they any good as I normally send the one at Sunway but lately i m not too happy w the quality...

hey guys...but if u hv mixed tires, i think at most u can do is just to swap btween the left and right tires at the rear. similarly for the front. did for my 120i recently. hopefully it can last for another 10k km...after running 20k km without doing it.
