Mine is a 318 lifestyle Y'04. Whenever I lock the car using the remote key, few minutes (depends sometime more than 10 min), the alarm will start blaring. I would than have to lock it manually using the key. No problem to unlock it using the remote apparantly. The problem happen to both set of keys. Any forummers face the same problem and found a solution for it. Any idea guys. Thanks

mine also like this....
my pomen say batery going to kaput but i just let it be....
some fren say can be set....
dunno which really are....
helppppppppppp

This one ive heard from A lot of places... Its because of the "Hood Sensor" apparantley because of our climate the hood sometimes deform a little (Metal expand under heat) So the contact of the Hood sensor will sometimes be effected...

I suggest going to the selected woksop or "stealership" to test out replacement and if it works... yes thats the culprit...

Other than that Its true that a low batt amp also contributes...

[DIY] ---> Grease and clean the Hood Sensor... this is a short fix...

i've already disconnected the hood sensor yesterday...
now the problem gone, i'll try to wait till this weekend....
if there's nothing funny came out then it sure be the hood sensor to be the culprit...
