Hi, I am looking to replace these airbag sensors for my 1993 E36 325i coupe. Appreciate any leads on this. Thanks! Din

need to open my book. if you need to change the airbag module, just lift your rear seat :)

Thanks Ezzo....actually the problem begun after washing the engine bay....hence I suspect the impact sensor is the culprit, after getting wet!

In the earlier E36 like mine, and perhaps just for the coupe, there is one impact sensor located at each front wheel arch. Seems later cars had these sensors "integrated" into the airbag module...

I've changed those engine sensors but error "crash-sensor closed permanently" still persist. Any idea what this means? Thanks...
