Air Mask E36

Help, I need to replace the air mask for my E36. I was told the original part would cost me RM2,500! I have previously replaced it with a recond and it died on me in just slightly over a year. Would you recommend I change it to an original part of just go with another recond. I also noticed that the recond seems to not provide the necessary power, not that I have tried an original before. Some advice from you guys out there?
