Bro,

U need to put some lubricant between brake pad and caliper to solve the problem. U can get it from any BMW part dealer...

The lubricant is called "copper grease". The service center apply a lot. Where did you change your pads?

for me yes, the noise gone after few weeks...., try to play with hard braking few times.., but not untill the disc got locked-up la.

Bedding in for new pads are necessary especially the hard compound ones. Textar is consider a rough pad compared to my originals that came with the car. Now I'm on OEM Textar also, supplied by SC under the BSRI program.

i just replace with textar as well and also having that sound. My mechanic did apply the grease, but i agree with Astroboy that its becos the pads are bedding with the disc.

Well do share with me if the noise is still there after a few weeks. I will revert in a couple of weeks when it has run in.

Between the caliper and the back of the pads where the shims are. Not on the friction surface/lining la.. how to stop the car with grease between the pad and rotor? :D :D
