Dear All,My steering wheel vibrate when i brake in the speed range of 110 to 130km/h, this still happen despite i have change the original front brake disc and pad. Also i ve change the bush as well. Can any sifu pls enlightened me on how to solve this problems? Pls help. TQ

Do you always wash your car when the disc is still hot? This will cause the disc to warp.

cppeng,
I believe it is the disc but since you have changed the disc and it's still there, strange??? Try skimming it.

are you sure original disc and pads ? if not, it will warp on the day you break-in the brakes..

or

you didn't wait for the bedding in...

check it out..

I think the wheel 'over-booze' .... hehehehehe:rock:

Bro, I think your car too powerful for your brakes oredi after you added the sprint-booster and remap your ECU!

Or...may be your car is not meant to be driven at 110-130kmph! Try doing 160kmph and above-lah, bro!

there could be so many other things involved besides the tires, and brakes. have a check on your steering rack tie rod (link)... the joint at the tie rod could be failing soon at the ball joint and it will have excess freeplay that can cause a vibration during braking.

besides the tie rod, have you changed all the front lower tension strut and wishbone bushes and not just part of it? any worn bush or joint will give unwanted freeplay that causes vibration under braking. it is advice to do the whole lot at the same time.

I have change 2 times the disc and brake pad, first time vibrate and they claim for me, 2 nd time still the same they ask mr to change the bush (dont noe which bush lar) still the same KNN, now my mekanik ask me to put my car for 2 day for him to check. TNS.

Thanks bro for your advice will get my mechanic to check it out.

Wrong fluid in the system la cppeng. Told you Jd fluid is bad for the system.

Can be faulty absorber too.. test out the absorber to eliminate such possibility.

i think he changed wrong "bush" if u know what i mean.

by the way, it might be the discs. try a larger diameter 1, by 1 or 2 inches.

my mechanic told me to change the upper arm bush ( thats the only bush i change after the disc and pad ) but end up the same, problem not solve. TNS my mech.
