I kena 1 AES summon when crossing trafficlight at Jalan Pasir Puteh, Ipoh. It wasdrizzling that time and the light was yellow.Very natural I'll accelerate and pass. Thelight must have changed to red halfway.Suddenly saw few flashes. It was Mondaynoon 26/11/2012. Today 29/11/2012 I gotthe photo sent to my house. I've neverseen such efficient stuff in Malaysia before. The question is do I need to pay? Coz Icheck summon using Police Summon Appson Android my car no record. This AES isprivatise and is not under PDRM I think.

Check the document. What does it say? Did they ask you to pay AES or a Gov authority? That's your answer.

Sad to say next week when you check the JPJ or PDRM your car will be register... Sorry

me sure the car will be blacklisted if you do not pay and renewing your roadtax is not possible

GreatWhite, sorry to tumpang your thread but what I wanted to ask is also related to summons.
Recently I received a summon from Perbadanan Putrajaya for my supposedly parking at a non-designated parking space in Putrajaya. Well, I would probably just pay up but the problem is that in the summon, it says I can either pay by cash/credit card at "Pusat Pembayaran Setempat @ Putrajaya" or via a bank draft, postal order, etc without mentioning specifically the address to which I should post to. I don't go to Putrajaya often nor do I live or work closeby, so it is so darn inconvenient to purposely make a trip there just to pay the summon. As the result, I was thinking of just forget about paying it alltogether. So guys, can this Perbadanan Putrajaya take me to court for non-settlement of their summon or block the renewal of my road-tax/drivers licence when the time comes for renewal?

c-square, yes they can. you also pay via their website, thru your credit card. by the way, they are very strict about this summons.
If you go to Perbadanan, it's on the ground floor next to maybank. There you can appeal to have it reduce.

cheers...

Thanks, pussy. I didn't know that I can pay through their website. Will try that later.

Need to wait for the first court on AES and then only will decide to plead guilty or not guilty.

..how you know that AES took you?? Today on my way back from Port Dickson, i saw that thing flashing, but since many cars were around, I have no idea who triggered it. I was at 90km/h (highway) so i guess its not me, however I was together with bunch of other cars in a relatively close range to that AES thing. I was also under impression that AES causing traffic on highway as, far as i can tell, i never saw more crowd on that highway driving real slow..usually was near half empty ..

i heard people say pay only the blacklisted type of summons. because not blacklisted one will give you no problem to renew roadtax etc if you dont pay. i have no idea at first how to check the type of summons until recently i downloaded an android app and it shows me.

i have several summons, all not blacklisted type and all are not paid yet since 2007 but i still manage to renew roadtax and what not. so i guess it's true what people are saying.

the above is applicable to conventional summons as far as i know. no idea how it is on aes summons.

Exactly it cause traffic congestion as 90kmh is too slow in 3 lanes hiway. Sumore if drive big, powerful and expensive car.

The only way you will know is when they send you a compound and you contest them in court. Plead not guilty and request trial. During trial, ask all you want on the system.

The question to ask is when the light turned amber before it turned red, was your car already over the stopping line? If it is, then you can argue. If you crossed the line after the lights turned red, then guilty as charged.
