ABS warning lights came on *** help

Dear All,Would like to check with all the sifu here... Just few days back the ABS Warning lights came on after driving less than few minutes of E34 1993 24v Manual.I've not gone to the workshop to check yet. if anyone here have similiar experience and what could be the cause? I have read thru the forum. Many of them are saying this is maybe "faulty in the whee speed sensor" or "ABS Control Unit" ?On top of that, the car currently is pull aside (right) when i breaking hard no matter what speeds. will this cause the Break Caliper Jam?Hopefully will not burn another big hole in my pocket !Thanks alot....

first, check the brake pads and the brake pad wear sensor. If they are worn, change it. That light might go off. If not, then move on to the ABS control unit
