New unit more than RM2k bro

Then is meaning that this ABS pump actually can buy separately. Bavarian Auto staff also said no need to buy the pump. The said they got the circuit board which on stock. So now i just need to buy the circuit board for ABS then change it. But i am not gonna DIY. I just intend to buy the circuit board only.........hehehehhe

Then i buy the circuit board and bring to another workshop to reprogram. BM World's charging is not cheap.

the abs cct board is the black part of the whole abs module.normally ,due to heat, the soldered connection on the cct board becomes brittle and disconnects, illuminating the abs light in the instrument cluster..

some mat salleh in the states have had this repair done diy by replacing the cct track with wire and resoldered everthing.....

if you just unplug the black colour ABS module, brake fluid will not flow out. If u unplug the ABS pump behind it, then it will flow out.

I suggest that you do not DIY on your own... let ah wai do it, have warranty also if dun work, then he can change it and look for the real problem.

btw, safety is a most important, you need brakes, if not sure dun touch....leave it to the professionals....

u will have big problems once the brake fluid flow out from the ABS module when you unlock the screw that connected to the brake copper pipe...the screws are not just to lock the pipe, it also function as brake fluid pressure adjusting point....so, not an easy task to you!Don't simply open it!

I have opened the ABS control unit. Confirmed brake fluid is not out. I will buy a new control unit and change it myself. After than will use the BMW scanner 1.4 to clear error. If error cannot clear then only send to workshop.

From the postings in the other forums, it is very likely be soldering points gone bad. Since you already got it out why don't you send it to those electronic repair shop and get them to re solder the unit.

I don't think it will cost more than RM100. If it still doesn't work only then chuck it away and buy a new one.

The cost is not RM100. I only removed from ABS pump not open the ABS control unit. The control unit is glue tight. i tried to open but failed. If u open the cover then for sure the crash.

The new unit is RM1450 which offer from Bavarian Auto. I decided to buy the new unit later and keep the old unit for research.

i just went to the work shop call F&S at USJ1 and Tel:016-2030665. My problem fixed. Speedometer not working is not because of ABS control unit. It is due to the new sensor changed at Ah Wai's shop which not plugged in properly. Be at the end i also bought the new module to change it due to the old module really got little problem.

My old ABS module not showing ABS light even the rear right wheel sensor got problem. And i have tried to on the ASC but sometime not able to on it.

Another problem from Ah Wai's workshop is, they change my tensioner pulley but never change the tensioner. I just been force it change the tensioner and the pulley again due to the tensioner comes with the pulley.

just found this thread. i would like to ask where are the relay board for abs is located? i tried looking underneath both sides of my AC filter but could not find. i check under rear bonnet floor same could not find.

my scanner shows valve relay error so i think it has something to do with the relay itself. want to give it a try.
