If the ABS light on and stay when u start ur engine ....normaly ur ABS master pump problem...........u can choose to repair it or rebuilt it if u lucky enuf that the valves are working..........the rebuilt cost RM200-RM300......If the valve is Kong...just find used unit cost RM400-RM500.........

If ur ABS light come up once a while when u driving ...maybe the sensor is bout time to clean n change.........

Just done mine at BM workspecialist at Taman Industrial Bolton..........U can look for Vasu ....he very good n experience in rebuilt the ABS pump with very reasonable price .......... :yes:

fyi....new ABS pump cost RM6k........ :getyourfactsright:

Sigh, my so called new unit really living up to it's reputation as Banyak Makan Woksyop and Banyak Makan Wang. My ABS and ASC lights are also litted, but surprisingly (sometimes), it goes off after 1-2 minutes of driving. But sometimes when I crank the engine, it's fine. :dunno:

lukesoon, I had the same problem 2 months ago. Is the power cut each time the ABS/ASC is lit up? And it would go off only to come on again, sometimes only after a day or so.

Mine was the idle valve as well as the fuel float being faulty
Once you get it diagnosed, it should be able to tell whats faulty.

Dear Sifus,
Since I got my e36 94/95 325i recently, I realized that there is no ABS check light when I turn my key to position 2 prior to ignition. After ignition also no ABS check light. Therefore I thought the car had no ABS present. However, two days ago when I open up the fuse box, I realized that there are 2 ABS relay and 3 fuses for ABS there. However, I dun get any ABS check light what so ever. Did the jam brake test and my wheel locks up without any ABS functioning. Did it at 20km/h, 40km/h, and 60km/h respectively. After reading most of the thread regarding ABS issues, most common problems arise with having ABS check lights lighting up due to ABS sensor or ABS pump issues. However, I get no lights at all and the ABS doesn't seems to be functioning. Is there a version where the 94/95 325 comes with no ABS? I have the SRS airbag steering and even cruise control, but no ABS. No error code from the comp. Is there any possibility that the ABS bulb from the meter cluster has been removed? Will appreciate any advice from any sifus before I send my car to a mechanic to get it checked.
