a drink in an e34

hi guys,been driving my e34 for a couple of weeks now.my wife keeps complaining that there is no place to put her drinks.juz wondering whether there are any OEM / aftermarket cup holder for the car?maybe a direct fit somewhere near the dashboard.....thanksregardsLipisBimmer

i just bought a cup holder from acc shop and stuck it to the dashboard on the passenger side!

hi mafia,

my car..... there's only 2 e34's here in Lipis. i'm one of the other proud owner of it. the other one, i haven't seen it for quite some time now....

the power....? hmm... still trying to get the hang of it. all those years driving jap cars and this is my first conti.... car's a little thirsty though...
but the ummphh... enough laa for a novice like me....

cup holder... i think i'll do that as well, but it might mess-up the dashboard a bit. no matter lah...

maybe i could learn something from u sifus out there.
hope to join u guys for TT or any gathering soon...
Living quite far laa from the HQ ....

actually... you can modify the center trench at the handbrake lever into a cup holder..actually thinking of it whan i had my car with me.. the thrench was for car phone and cassette holder option.

maybe a good visit to the chop shops to look for one other make ..

Hai lipisbimmer,

As an alternative to pussy's suggestion, I think u can make an extention from that. Why dont u put an arm rest on top of it, then u korek lubang just to accomodate as your cup holder? U and you wife will have the cup holder.No more asking asking her to hold the drink.

I know there is no ori armrest 4 yur E34 but then 'M'sia Boleh' can be apply here. Get someone to construct the armrest to ur liking, get it painted black or varnished it. When view from outside nobody can tell that it is not a real mac coy!

Sory I cannot give u a picture bcoz this. ooh! this come instantenously to my cpu. I can visualise the idea only at the moment. :lazy: May be someone can turn this into reality.
