Dear Bimmers,My loan has been approved by Public Bank... considering my car is a recon and the bank offered me 3.55%... I think that it's a catch! Now I am waiting for the result of my number plate bidding FYI, I will be driving my car for a month without touching anything inside.. since the warranty given by Beemer is one (1) month. After that, I am thinking of upgrading the sport rims to 19" from my current 18" M-Sport rim. Actually I was thinking either Hamann or Breyton rims, as both have quite nice designs. So, here are the questions...1) Does anyone know any tyre shop that accept trade-in for both 18" M-Sport and run-flat tyres, while offering a competitive rate on tyres? I would prefer if the shop is somewhere in PJ, Subang or Sunway area... 2) My friend told me that both tyres and rims are connected to the ECU. Is it true? Will changing the rims affect the ECU? Does the ECU have to be set back to default settings? Does the tyre shop has this kind of equipment?3) My friend told me that the Japanese tyres are less durable compared to the likes of Continental, Pirelli and Michelin... as the former normally last about 20000-25000km whereas the latter manages more than 35000-40000km. Any point of view? Thanks a lot...Leo - another proud Bimmer in the making
