tyre pressure monitoring

guys,i'm kinda curious, been wanting to ask this question but have been super busy for the past months.anyway, i do noticed that my other car have in TPM dongle in the rims itself to monitor the typre pressure. when i changed my tyres 2 months ago, i have noticed that the e60(at least mine doesn't) does not have any dongle or whatsoever attached to the rim. How does it monitor the tyre pressure then?thanks.noobie.

If not mistaken, it monitors the rotation speed of each wheel. Once a wheel rotation speed is found to be different to the others, it'll prompt for tyre pressure check.

the error msg appeared when changed 2 back tyres but after initializing in i drive..back to normal..
