HI i am new to bimmer and i just got it yesterday from auto bavaria.i want to know is the 242kph is factory limited or that is the maximum.what should i do to get more horsepower and topspeed without voiding the warranty.tq

wow, brand new car and already whack 242kph? actually, the car is underpowered. u have to get a supercharger and boost it up. then can reach 300kph.

congratulations on your purchase...can try a ecu remap...pls search some of the previous threads on the subject...car will feel more lively with some increase in performance..suprised that you feel the need to upgrade so soon..

Congrats on your newly purchased ride...Bro, if you plan to add-on extra umphh to the car, try 'sprint booster'. it won't void your warranty (it's plug & play) and will improve your throttle response without the lag or delay on start-up...you'll feel that the car has increased in pick-up.:top: but, in terms of top speed, i've done 240++ max...but that was't immediately after i purchased the car...have you ever heard of running-in bro?:burnout:

an ECU job will give u 230+bhp only..

thus far there are no supercharger kits designed for ur engine.i guess its probably because of the magnesium aluminium construction of ur engine,which makes it less strong in accepting the pressures of forced induction.

the best would be the Sprint Booster la..won't void ur new car's warranty.enjoy it as it is first..u'll have to wait a wee bit longer for upgrades to be available la,a little bit too new for the market as yet.

i wish the 535i was made available here..sadly,its only offered in the US.imagine a twin turbo 3.0 under ur hood,360bhp possible with just an ECU and exhaust upgrade.. as good as a 550i,but still short of the M5 la.

Bro, was there a couple of days ago. Installed a bunch of stuff. Must say this... the sprint booster is amazing...worth every sen. Now acceleration is crisp ....love the engine 'grunt' that I'm hearing. :driver:

sprint booster ... u may face difficulty to adapt if you want to have easy drive around kampung or town. It gives a sudden boost .....

really neccesary for the supercharger for 525 msports ar? wow u guy really drive fast huh? I went to genting yesterday with my 523. Man it was amazing. so much fun. after i arrived and i felt abit dizzy. hehehe but it was fun. With 5 adults and no problem at all. I think 525 shd be even more powerful ... u guys even ask for 530? m5? man ...

for me la. 523 good enough but if got no budget then sure 525 msport look much much better. shd have gone to 525 hehehehe abit regret that i didnt think twice and ordered it right away after test drive.

This still not consider the 530d with HARTGE chip tune up. Never disappoint you despite the diesel knocking sound which you totally cannot hear it from inside.

Anybody ever compare 530d with 530i. Which one is faster ? I maybe biased towards my 530d. On paper the 530d is faster than 530i right?

530d with 5.8 sec 0-100 and over 500Nm torque after HARTGE tuning.. I am the proud owner
