capkel.. got a five speed gearbox for sale.. wan cheap.. with wiring, ecu.. the whole lot..

pm me..
Will it fit the M20b25 engine? I will have to change a lot of other things eg long shaft, differential etc.

Didn't bother with the 5 speed. Sticking to ori 4 speed.

Anyway, just got the car back and I am quite happy with it.

Recond gearbox rm2800 incl torque converter and 6 months warranty.

Did an inspection2 however the cars' idle is still rather erratic therefore I will try to clean the AFM and ICV tomorrow and see what happens.

My gb just about to fail already. The other day, coming back from Cherating, the "TRANS PROG" warning came up in the OBC. Then my Gear indicators disappear and gear stuck to one only. Lucky near Genting-Sempah already tat time, so stopped and restarted the car ands its ok for now. But still when rev too high the gear change very slow, as though the clutch is slipping. Check by workshop and they confirm must change GB, quoted me 5K. Currently using the GM made GB(local assemble one)

Pussy, i PM'ed u already. Wats ur price?

creator.. pm you already.. don't worry.. stick to the forum for your solutions and we can help you not to waste money.. RM5k is a lot of money..can get it done cheaper than that..

regards.

Finally after 3 long weeks the car is in sound mechanical order.

I cleaned the AFM with carb cleaner and initially the idle was still hunting and the car stalled on numerous occasions at idle speeds. After a day and a half the car strarted behaving itself and now the idle's smooth :D

Apparently, it takes the ECU a day or two to figure itself out after disconnecting the batteries. (Which I did)

All in I have already spent 8k. Just on the mechanical parts of the car. A truly expensive endeavour.

Now's the FUN part!!! The exterior and interior. :yahoo:

Lucky you.... my car was in the workshop / bodyshop for 3 weeks. Just got my car yesterday and found my aircon is leaking. Sigh, looks like it will be sometime before I can even think of upgrading the rims/tyres, ICE, blah, blah. :beaten:
