Hello folks....just sharing some pics of my new ride acquired last month, and slowly fixing up some electrical and interior stuffs. Will be a fun ongoing project to make the car better, but not to concourse level as I will be afraid to drive it.
Was originally looking for a E39 M5, but got this instead. Next in the list is to source a set of 16" open lug Alpina or Style 5?? Just found out that Bob Marley used to have the same car in Fjord Blue as well....added celebrity taste.
Anyway, it has a 1976 M30 (L-Jet) installed with 5-speed conversion. Drives good but AFM could use some tweaking to idle better when engine is warm. This is a factory A/C equipped car but compressor was removed. Wish it still has the original Becker radio, but was removed as well. I don't really need these as the M30 sounds beautiful, still deliver 176 healthy horses.
