18'' rims

wasuup guys, For all the members & non members happy merdeka day.Just installed 18'' AC Type IV replica and realized that due to the weight of the rims, the car accelerate slowly and fuel consumption is slightly increased. I guess if we compare with original ACS rims, it shouldn't be so much different. What I'm afraid, there are lots of replicas out there and afraid mine is from china not taiwan. Any diff my fellow senior members?Thanks

I reckon Taiwan's factory is in China, normally the case. As from other places, the ACS replica's comes from Thailand as well........that one the colors are in matt siver instead of chrome..sial

If u r on 18", best wheel size is 225/40/18 and not any bigger for economical & acceleration reasons!

dont know bout china replicas but i can relate thai vs taiwan replicas. the taiwan ones has better finishin thn the thai ones (the smoothness is all round but thai is onli the exterior). if u plan to change rims say every 2 yrs dont need to go for ori ... just my 2cents

ive experienced tat before then chged back to 17" for my E36 which my wife drive the car but my E39 stil using 18"

Its normal for bigger rim that effected the acceleration n FC.......Tat why u need to choose btw outlook n performance ......

btw no diff btw China replica n Taiwan replica.....All are replica.....

ps. going back to kluang this weekend, just wanna test how far can the car go with bigger rims
