Hey, i'm thinking of purchasing this mod to enable my kids watching dvd while on the move. Has anyone tried it ? It's stright forward software mod, no installation required. Seems a lot on the US forums http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=511906 have tried it and it works as advertised.

One of my most sensible investment for my F10.Keep my kids entertained by transformers 3 while travelling now on LPT.

No you can't share, it's car specific based on your VIN.

Do we need to have the optional dvd player option first? Or every f10 can play dvd? I dont equip my f10 with dvd player options

I believe as long as your player can read DVD's then this will work If the player cannot read DVD (only a CD player) then you won't be able to play DVD's anyhow.

I think only the Pro Navi unit CIC comes with DVD.. normal Professional unit cant.
