Need to purchase the windscreen cover for my new 2006 X3. The insurance company wants me to take out a cover for RM6k, which I think is high. Any idea1) what is the cost of the front windscreen for a 2006 X32) any contact number to call to check the price for a replacement windscreenThanks

Update to my own question:
Called three (3) windscreen repair/replacement specialist around KL. All of them wanted my vehicle chasis number to quote me the cost of replacing my front windschield. They also wanted to know if it was an insurance claim, name of the insurance company and the amount I insured. I told all 3 of them different "white lies" to gauge the response. Here are my findings:
The 2 response i received were from Drcermin and CCH Windscreen. Suprisingly both were similar. (a cartel !!)
Cost to replace (incl installation)-RM 2,800 German import / RM 1,400 China import
The German import has a 3 year warranty which covered water leakage and the rain sensor
The Chinese import, 3 years warranty for water leakage ONLY.
