reasonly when i turn my steering during parking. got some (gruk gruk) sound from steering. send to workshop check. the mechanic told me is steering rack problem. have to replace it. the mechanic told me have to pay RM12k for the replament.have to check with sifu here before proceed to replace itthe item code is 32106777470Many Thanks for the reply first..

Its a ZF active steering rack, they call it "Steering Gear":

I know ZF gearbox is repairable.

Was the issue solve?

I have issue with my e90 325 steering rack cannot balance the tire turning angle. Its more angle turning left. Have tried adjust still not solved. Bought car 2nd hand and previous owner change steering rack but not original maybe oem.
