Auto Bavaria (Sg. Besi) recently replaced my E46 wiper blade inserts. However, on the left hand wiper (viz. on the passenger side, in the context of my RHD car), the insert was slid in the other way around (compared to the original installation) - as in the "lock" on the rubber insert was on the far edge (the longer stroke side) instead of the near edge (the shorter stroke side, ie. the side nearer to the centre-bottom of the windscreen). Is there any difference as in which way the insert is slid in? AB says there's no difference, but I have my doubts. However, to remove and reinstall the insert may ruin the insert's "lock". The important thing is, I don't want my wiper blade insert to fly out during high speed driving in the rain and my car's windscreen gets scratched in the process!
