Driver Side Wiper Judder (Bouncing)

I have juz change a new windscreen, changed the rubber boots below the wiper arms, it does fix the hood knocking problem of the passenger wiper, however, the driver side wiper still bouncing as before, and the wiper arm is very near to the screen and it sometimes(most of the time) scratches the screen, making my heart feel so pain everytime.Any E34 sifu know how to fix the problem?? need your help pls!!!

I just check other forums, they suggest changing to year 95~96 wiper blade, is that going to solve the problem????

When I had the similar problem, I changed the wiper arm, and it worked for me.

Pussy's right, wiper arm sudah lari. Get it changed.

Also check all the wiper's linkages for worn bushes as well.

just to share, facing the same problem with my e34 passenger side wiper arm too, i change a e36 wiper arm on it... it's much better the original e34.

i was also shock, and it need slightly modify i guess ... no problem boss, but car in paintshop will go have alook later, if the wiper install then i will take some pic ya:burnout:

thx all, i have actually replace the two rounded rubber bushes and no hood knocking problem anymore.

anyone can find me replacement arms? I also read that newer passenger side arm also have better design that it have more space between the arm and the hood. so might wana change a whole pair.

and an estemated price? will wana to change it ASAP as i juz change a new windscreen dun wanna scratch it anymore. thx ya, pussy,kev, j-e34, climenta and chinlai.
