window scratched

Posted this last time...still have not found a place to fix it...Anybody got any idea on where to fix this? Its a line about 5 inches long..... :cry: Got it while tinting my car.....with Jax..apparently the knife left a scar on my glass.... replacement is expensive as my car is CBU....:beaten:

Here in Sabah, they have a wax that can clear the scratch, i'll check with them what is the brand, might be you can source for the wax in KL.

as fer the scratches, i wonder if they r deep ones or mere scratches. if its the latter, u cld opt fer chipstick (ace hardware) or sonax color pen (tesco) but they do not fill the chips tho.

i wuz one of 1st chipsaway customer when they made their local debut ere when i had my car windscreen repaired by em due to stone chips where they used sorta resin quite a gd job i must say.

Check here with the car wash, they told they using auto gly product.Im not sure if its true or not

I dont think there is anyway/anywhere to fix a scratched window....I've tried it b 4...

I got my front windscreen scratched 2-days after I got my car and I have to live with it...have been searching high and low and spent quite some $$$ but the scratch is still there....

For an unsightly scratch, try applying a coat of clear nail polish (another website suggests brand Vaseline). Remove excess with nail polish remover on a clean cloth.

Another option is to buy a very gentle metal polishing compound, such as Brasso, and polish out the scratch with a soft cotton cloth. This takes a lot of elbow grease and you do run the risk of creating tiny abrasive scratches.
