Guys, the plan is to make a visit to the home on Sat, 15th April meet at 1030am, venue: tba

I need to know now from all you good souls who have pledged.....can you keep that date and time free and can you all make it.

If you all can, then there's no need to bring all your stuff on the 14th Apr.

For those who cant, please let me know and also for those who wanna give something....even small....like 1 tin of milk or Milo etc...I will be there on the 14th to collect.

Those who pledged cash...Fabian, (will you will be joining us on the 15th)...if you are, can I suggest that you collect from the rest....with their FULL name....I'll try to get receipts in your their name for proof of delivery and tax purposes.

I won't be able to make it on Sat as I have to attend a compulsory team-building workshop on that weekend.. sigh..

So I'll be there on Friday Night TT to past the money to u.

I was at the Rumah Kanak Kanak Cacat yesterday....just to visit and see the kids...spoke to the President, Mr Morgun and everyone there is all excited with our planned visit this Sat.

He suggested if we would oblige the kids with joy rides in our cars....just around the neighbourhood....can be arranged.

These are the deprived....children and teenagers who are not "normal" or what we call "special" or "challenged" people.

Just some info ...so you know what to expect on that day.....the 'rumah" is a old single storey house that has over 50 physically and or mentally challenged children and teenagers....far too many for a small place like that. 2 old shipping containers at the front of the house act as makeshift classromms.

The kids just finished their meal when we arrived (meals are held out at the shaded driveway)

There were several who are "bedridden"...these are spoon fed, lying on a thin mat in the hall. Kids that are challenged by all sorts of conditions that make your heart go soft and weak for them. From CSF (water in the brain) to babies with "a hole in the heart" condition.

So, please be prepared, it is not a very pretty sight for the light hearted.
.....but, they all seem very HAPPY!....i guess the very little but basic and essential that they receive ....is sufficient for them!

....Back to topic....
