Greetings,Today I start my car after 2 days havent run. So I let it run for a couple of minute while I'm listening to radio (dont have walkman so listening in my car is the only choice .. lol)Then I look at my rear mirror, I noticed some white smoke ... I quickly get out and check at my exhaust, it's coming out from my exhaust. But after I take the car for a couple of km around Alor Star town, the white smoke gone.So what's the problem ? I'm worried because I think I've read somehwere that state when white smoke coming out from engine/exhaust, its a bad sign of the engine.Regards, maelzx

Could be some oil in combustion chamber. Minor leak at piston rings/oil seals etc. Not too major.

Might want to set aside some money for later engine rebuild/overhaul. How much later depends on how you drive.

If it's in the morning then maybe just moisture in the system being emitted?

After warming up if still whitesmoke means the piston rings need replacing?

Might be the Valve guide seal as well.... try do compression test and see which to perform...

Maybe blown head, water jacket into combustion chamber................ but white smoke gone after a spin???????
It maybe some moisture trapped in the exhaust system.
Try to open the oil cap and check if the cap is muddy/milky color. If it is, BAD NEWS. Check also the radiator and see if there are traces of oil.

Sounds like its just water vapour / condensation only. No big deal.
