Maybe the 530's had the black labels and the 520/525's had the white label?

Hey Maxx - I paid RM50 each sticker. I have a few of them cos Bavaria Auto only accepts orders for 10 at a time. How many do you need?

:13: rm50/- each.....min 10 orders......for stickers as a reminder to use the correct ron.........wow!

oh....mine's white....'97 528i uk import......yr car must be in pristine showroom unmolested condition then......good for you:top:

Hey Moots - I've spent a bomb restoring this 525i of mine. It's almost like having a wife that won't stop shopping - on your expense! LOL.

I'm a big fan of keeping things original. I even have the original user manual supplied with the car - its still in the glovebox in the leather folder that AB used to deliver the car with! :D

So this label issue annoys me a bit lah....right now I'm leaning towards the white label. Seems more CKD 525's have that.

Looks like we're nowhere near solving the mystery of the fuel label - :D

Mine post-facelift 2003 local...white colour...

Correction: Mine label is black... the wording is the same like the white color label (ROZ/RON 91-98)...I think Post fcelift is black label...

Wouldn't explain Herbert's 525 post facelift with a white label....

how about the color of the driver's door label? the one where psi is been displayed.

Aiyo. Pening kepala man. Some white labels, some black labels.

Gerald - my driver's door label is black, with silver lettering. Wonder if AB can confirm which is the correct label?

Anyone has contacts for a parts manager in AB?

Gerald - I just noticed even the black labels they sent over aren't the right ones!!!
Compared to the one on your car the wordings are completely different!
Crap crap crap....:( :(

Mine driver door label is black too, can this be the hint? Check if herbert's is white?

this is going to be challenging, best bet would be checking the Vin number and compare to a car that is within the same batch. If yours is a local spec, I believe your Vin should starts with BZ xxxxx.

OK. Assuming Herbert's door label is white, that would mean my fuel label should be black.

The black labels I have on hand aren't even the correct ones! :( I called Bavaria Auto, and they don't have a CLUE where to get the correct labels.

Anyone have contacts in AB I can call to see if I can get the right BLACK label?

P.S : I know I sound a bit anal & obsessive about the whole label thing......LOL.
But I'm planning on restoring this car to exact factory spec, so it's quite important to me to get the details right...;)
