cool rite? cheap summore.. its red color tube.. i can send u the package picture if u really want to find one. seriously it is just nice.. not too hard and not soft either. can feel steering improves.

could you pls send me the picture too...i m interested too..looking for cheap setup as well..just to replace the stock one..

For the rears I guess it would be the same, but the fronts may be different. As it has to cater to the heavier 6-pot engine. From what I read, there are different ori spring rates too as indicated by the color band on the springs that denote the spring rebound rate etc...

I've completed changing all 4 new absorber. front sachs with msport spring.. rear caston with msport spring. total damage rm1235 including labor. im using cheap2 brand only, but so far the result is quite awesome compared to my 10yr old stock msport shockers.

Which model of SACHS did you replaced with? SACHS Advantage/Boge Turbo are OEM replacement for M-Sports. SACHS Advantage are around RM4.4k for 4cps imported by ZF Malaysia.

Planning to replace my 8 year old stock rear shocks together with front Boge Automatic very soon.

All shocks have a lifespan, avg on our M'sian roads I'd give 3-4 years max. In our case, its about 9-10years so time to change...

from the prices I gathered, B6 is around 2.6-3k depending on which shop. This excludes the misc items like mounting, bump stop, etc. So total budget around 3-3.5k la. :)

Hey Iceduke thanks for feedback :) I took over my mom's ride which has only 55k km on it as it was her home to pasar ride and sometimes to shopping. Even in this situation need to consider a change even off it's age? Guess I am lucky mom is slow driver but has the tendency to hit potholes LOL. Car yard offered too low in mint condition so I jumped to take over slightly more then what they offered haha. She just wanted a newer ride ;)

Lol I guess it is ok but worried my sense of judgement is off, maybe if it time to go test new abs. Only thing I can tell is I feel bushing might be loose dy. Maybe if at tt can ask old tai can drive and confirm if anything is off or me just being overly paranoid.

I think it is time for me to change the absober for my new bought e46...but did not decide yet what brand to choose. only 2 brand in my mine. Bilstein B6 combo with my ori msport spring or Titan shock but titan shock comes with 2 years waranty, fully serviceable. and they only charge rm100 perpcs for service after 2 years including labour

Rm2600 with installation and add on rm300 you will get custom rear absober mounting...lowered is up to you...they will made it for you...like what there done to my E39

hi bros..

I've seen the cost that goes up to rm4-5k for all round absorber setup, why not go for full hi-lo soft-hard adjustable setup which will cost almost half??
I'm using one made from Taiwan, it serves better as coilovers & impressed with the quality too... I think Taiwan manufacturer has improved to meet such high quality demand from UDM owners...
With adjustable absorbers you can setup your UDM the ideal heights as you may wish according to your type of rims...

Just my 2 cents, cheers!!

Bro,

If you dun mind me asking, how do they sevice the absorber? I mean, wot they do to it?

titan service like what formen do when overhaul our engine..they will take out everything, then change all part and refill back gas mix with oil...and all most forget to tell that they custom made it from zero till be 1pcs off shock absober. They have a complete equipment like a mini kilang bro. http://titanshocks.com/about.html
