Same here bro i drive LOL....will upgrading from M-sport springs and suspension really make a difference? Currently, i feel already nice.....but wonder how much better it will be??? Pls advise.....

its already nice with current msport setting.
today i just bought sachs absorber for front, and caston for behind.
sachs rm380 each, caston rm185 each. is it okey?

there are many brands out there...but most forummers here and overseas will opt for Bilstein B8 with either H&R or Eibach. Prolly cost you around 3-4k for the entire setup.

bro madziz, my advise stick to your M-sports :), its the best IMHO, doenst lower too much and has good compromise between comfort and handling / performance, as I am on Msports too :)....I am planning to change to B6 as I believe the B8 may be only suitable for springs which are lowered more than 10mm eg. Eibach / H&R.

Just my 2 cents :)

msport stock absorber is what brand and model? is it boge?
is boge and sachs are the same?

Hey bro Iceduke! Appreciate your comment....and i will heed it too. I am not looking for racing LOL so your advise is great and taken. I am sticking to M-sports suspension and springs. Why you changing bro.....need more stability to grind the rails??? LOL :p

M-sports is actually SACHS sports absorbers. To order them brand new will have to import and it cost 6-7k. not worth it IMHO. Closest to it is Sachs Advantage but the fellas here don;t bring it in, but prefer to sell Bilstein.

bro madziz, am planning to change coz my car is still riding on the abs that came with the car 9 years ago...dah la letih...plus its a bit soft now...so aiming for B6s...but see how it goes...

I've completed changing all 4 new absorber. front sachs with msport spring.. rear caston with msport spring. total damage rm1235 including labor. im using cheap2 brand only, but so far the result is quite awesome compared to my 10yr old stock msport shockers.

caston? from where? and where did u bought and changed ur abs from bro? care to share? thanks :)

caston i bought through my mechanic..he really recommend this as many of his customer and he himself using this in his e36 coupe. price is cheap rm185each, and its slightly harder than sachs or bilstein black.

All shocks have a lifespan, avg on our M'sian roads I'd give 3-4 years max. In our case, its about 9-10years so time to change...

from the prices I gathered, B6 is around 2.6-3k depending on which shop. This excludes the misc items like mounting, bump stop, etc. So total budget around 3-3.5k la. :)

Oh..I did a research apparently it is used in competition setup too, cool...is it yellow or black color tubing? If its hard or firm? Does it feel like crashing and shudder when roads are rough? if yes means its really hard and may not be suitable to Msport setup as the Msport springs are already firm and harder than eibach and H&R.

Let me know thanks bro ;)

cool rite? cheap summore.. its red color tube.. i can send u the package picture if u really want to find one. seriously it is just nice.. not too hard and not soft either. can feel steering improves.

cupin!!! mind to intro the workshop u sent urs? share the picture please...first time heard about caston..damage...for 1253, acceptable.
