Where to start looking?

Hi all, I am looking to get an E90 323i year 2010 onwards but i am not too sure where to start looking.I've visited Selayang Auto but i don't quite trust the salesman and they are not that knowledgeable about the car.Been to AB Glenmarie as well, all good except the price (I visited end of last year, 323i yr 2009 was RM178k). I read through the forums and some manage to get good deals for a 2010 model at the same place (roughly Rm160k+)Other then that, i check The Star, mudah.com and oto.com.Should i be looking at other places?I feel that buying from AB/direct owner can be more trustworthy compared to second hand dealer. Just a thought. :wink:

Hi Silverware, Mudah and the sites you have listed are all a good start. Apart from that you can keep a tab on our Classifieds section as well. Not sure if you fancy diesels?

Generally, it would be better to buy direct from direct owners but that is only a good choice if the previous owner took a good care of the ride. Second hand car dealers ain't too shabby too as have came across few cases where members got really good used condition cars from used car dealers.

Hi, i'm not really a diesel fan yet, looking for something more towards comfort and powerful as well.

Do you know any good recommendations of second hand dealers?

The benefit of getting from AB is their low interest and some kind of warranty for a year if i am not wrong.

Frankly the 323i isn't that powerful. You might want to consider the 325i instead.

Come la ... take my e90 325 MSport (2011) ... hahahahaha ... Glenmarie must be nuts to expect to sell a 2009 323 for 178K.

Come selling mine 2011, less than 26k km, warranty till Aug, BSRi till Mac 2014, still on ori tyres! Black and everything else ori too. Upgradin to 320d if can sell at Rm188k

@ Mavik: Budget is around Rm150k for the LCI model, so 325i is out.

@ tiantci. Yea, seriously nuts and when i found out that others in the forum got a newer car at Rm15k cheaper, i was really mad.

I went to AB Glenmarie just now, apparently there's no more E90 in BPS.

Only if there's any trade-in, they will have the E90. Quick check, in this case, the special BMW interest and 1 year warranty do not apply right?
