if i were to change the aircond blower where should i go?
do they need to take out the dashboard?

coz i'm currently on bigger blower and not the slim one.
and that make my radio head cant fit nicely.

Eujax, try Naidu, my father brings his bm there and he's good with air-cons too. Blower problem, does it blow only on certain settings i.e. 1 and 3 but not 2 or sometimes blows sometimes not, check your blower fuses.

rzonealley, i have the same problem, i think the previous owner put in an e34 blower so my radio stick out like yours. so now looking for shorter radio.

I want to install an aircon unit to my car (my old one was .....old and rosak already) ... how much does it cost aaa?? how about retrofitting proton's aircon into the car (since proton's aircon is the only thing good from proton...they are cold!)

in that case its very hard to find shorter radio.
do u know how much it cost to change back to stock e30 blower?

i still got stock radio with me.
i just notice bout this blower prob when i try to change
the radio recently...
does it mean i have to use that old stock e30 radio?

My ride e30 318i air cond coolness can last around 2 months or less or more. After that quite warm and have to refill gas.

Anybody knows the symptom and would like to help b4 I send to Niadu's for checking?

It is like the cooling coil freezed with ice thus restricting the flow of the air to the vent

I have changes the cooling coil + expansion valve + dryer and new refregenrant too
but this same problem still persist!!

Reviving this treat cos of this problem encountered... cant find any info on this so far!

while driving the E30 316i for long distances, I find that the aircon blower just suddenly get's weaker... THere aren't any cold air coming off the vent or very little!

This only happens when driving a long distance, but not on normal drive!
