true jes go to tis guy dude 120% satisfaction

Not only satisfaction guranteed ..... but you could fXXX his aXX if you could prove his allignment is not correct (provided you know what is allignment and balancing all about).

There is another shop in Sea Park, Sunny .... XXX blood brother ... as good as Manji, in fact Manji partner during the early days.

This is true. Top 10% percentile of all tire shop in Klang Valley. From boss to workers to equipment and workshop, top notch.

Not many people like this MPS around, they serious about doing it right the first time round.

Anybody can give MPS Auto Subang's full address?

I'm planning to my alignment as well, but don't know where is that place,

Thanks

Yes, E60 has active steering. But was not aware that special tools would be needed to align the car. Anyone can confirm this?

Anyone can confirm this? I might be sending my E60 to do balancing and alignment. Would hate that some function goes faulty because of this.

Look down the list and you'll see MP Auto. But there's a double entry: MP Auto and MPS Auto. Address is the same though. Warning, phone number is wrong! It's actually for BL Auto in Sri Damansara. I know because I called it and got that. Which suited me just fine because I live in that area! Changed my 325 tires there (BL Auto) and so far so good. Talk about lucky co-incidences!

had to dig up this old thread..didn't want to start another unnecessarily..

could anyone suggest a good tyre shop in Penang/S'Perai area, one that is used to doing the e60 especially..my mum's e60 needs a good alignment/balancing job+alloy repair(bent due to big stone in the middle of the friggin' road).

still in Penang for raya..and this had to happen la..crap.

need suggestions ASAP.....

Got a severe puncture on the way back from Singapore over the Raya break as well and had to spend RM1,650 to replace one factory fitted Bridgestone Potenza RE050 245/45 R17 runflat tyre. Another shop had earlier quoted me RM2k for one tyre!

Also, I noticed that the factory fitted ones have a "star" logo after the wordings but the replacement tyre didnt. The shop told me that the ones fitted for Mercedes come with the words "MO" or something like that and assured me that it was the real thing. Anybody can verify this?

Thx

does a great job on my e60. ;)

For cars with active steering, can the balancing and alignment be done at just about any shop with computerised equipment, or only at certain specialised ones? Thanks

Kee Hin will be ok.

I stopped going to Kee Hin after they screwed up my rims and denied doing it. The last time I was there, they said 2 of my rims were dented and need to be fixed. I dont know where on earth they brought the rims to but the worst part is that when the rims came back, they got paint spray on them. My rims colour were shinning gunmetal colour. So I guess when they fixed the rims they screwed up the rims colour and tried to cover the mistake by spraying the rims with cheap cement colour spray. Then what they did was to delay delivery of the car until their shop closed. They didnt call me and I have to find them (I know the location of the owner's house in Taman Desa). Then when I went to collect the car at 7pm (get this : they left my car keys with the evening bak kut teh seller there !) but still I can the colour difference in the rims. When I confronted them the next morning, there start the "dumb" facial expression..."I dont know..we didnt do it bla..bla..bla.." The owners and workers alike trying to duck the questions and ran away. I was extremely pissed and dissapointed with this kind of irresponsible attitude from a so called "good tires shop". They dont know how to deal with mistakes ! Just admit it and be a man.

Sorry for you dude...

Why such unethical business people still can survive in their line of business?

Unbelievable...

I did my balancing and alignment at MPS Auto Sunway. The guy that does my alignment then went on to work with Kim Heng Car Care Sdn Bhd. Now I am getting my tires, balancing and alignemnt with them. They are good because it is the same guy that does my alignment at MPS and their tires price is reasonable. Give them a call 012-2733267 http://www.michelin.com.my/dealers/deal_dfdr_rslt.jsp?op=view&dealerId=DLR005

On a side note tires price will increase this Nov

Sorry to hear that.

I guess I must be the lucky one. I hv been sending my merc & bimmer to them for many years & hv not experience what you hv described below.

Do u want me to follow up with the boss of Kee Hin. I know him quite well.

Guys,

Would appreciate if someone can recommend a BMW specialist workshop in PJ that have the equipment for wheel alignment and wheel balancing for the E60?

Thanks.

I have personally went to a Bridgestone Pro Shop at Kota Kemuning near McD (which i forgot the name but its the only one near the Mcdonald). I was impressed with the work they have done and the explanation they did to my car. They know a lot bout my E60 than other workshop did like MPS, Kee Hin, or Kim Heng (which i personally visited myself). The owner of the shop has explained to me the camber position of the front wheel and the adjustment of the ACTIVE STEERING ANGLE of my car with the diagnostic tool (which none of other workshops that i visited acknowledged of those). And my car really feel different after i did alignment from the shop and it last till now(after probably 6-7 months). As the owner/manager of the shop explain to me why E60 with active steering feels funny while driving especially at high speed, it is because of the steering angle of the car so he adjust it back with a diagnostic tools and did a few test run and immediately my car feel totally different... Amazing and most importantly is that none of the above mentioned tyre shop is aware of this and they just do the normal alignment to my E60 (whereby standard for their worker to go down my car, test drive, ... and done). Therefore, my first and only choice now is this Kota Kemuning shop near McD with a big Bridgestone shopsign... Forgot the name btw... please remind me of its name anyone??

As i believe, balancing and alignment can't do any good to the active steering... read my earlier post that this shop in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam can align the active steering.... I have tried it myself and its amazing. Ii had visited many shops around Subang, Sunway, Shah Alam till i found this shop. Happy driving.

thanx bro..this is indeed a good find.i'll be making my way there for my next periodical alignment/balancing/tyre check visit.

i thought i was alone in experiencing 'hyper-activity' of my steering especially during medium to high speed highway driving.i was actually resigned to the fact that the problem was due to my wide tyre/rim staggered combo..

again,good find..bravo.

after i changed to a new sets of RFTs my steering started vibrating at highway speeds above 100kmh... went back to the tyre shop to do a rebalancing but the result stil the same... do i need to do on wheel balancing or is it telling me that suspension parts, bushes are wearing out??? btw my car's mileage is about 44000kms,,, or do you need special machine to balance RFTs? cos previously i changed to PS2s there was no vibration at all that i noticed...
