Wheel alignment, balancing for E60

Guys,Would appreciate if someone can recommend a BMW specialist workshop in PJ that have the equipment for wheel alignment and wheel balancing for the E60?Thanks.

Well, there no really a BMW wheel specialist. Any good & reputated wheel shop (Lim Tyre, Bridgestone Pro Shop) can do a fabulous wheel job. Make sure they are equiped with computerized gadgets :yes!: Lim Tyre in SS2 is good...

I just called up AB and they suggested I send it to Sykt Hua Hin tyre, a Michellin dealer along Jln Chan Siow Lin. According to AB they sub-contracted all wheel works to them and supports them with the correct configurations for the various BMW cars. So will check them out and see if they can do a good job and if their prices are reasonable or not.

yes the one that BMW recommend is quite good; used to send my E39 there, also Lim Tayar TTDI can do a good job also.

Mind me asking E60 got active steering or not ah? BMW Service Center charges RM390 of alignment job for such car le and was told need to set the active steering with special BMW tools. Got such thing ah?

I normally send my car to the shop in Sunway...MP Auto if i am not mistaken...they have the michelin brand on the sign board...

Yes, E60 has active steering. But was not aware that special tools would be needed to align the car. Anyone can confirm this?

i go to MPS Auto in Subang. Owner is Manji Lai. FYI, I don't own an E60.
In the shop, I've seen a lot of Porsches, BMWs, Mercs, Lambo, Ferarri so I guess they would know what to do with an E60. Can always check with them. Price-wise for alignment, balancing a bit higher but satisfaction guaranteed.
