Actually if not mistaken, you have some relative or friends from Maybank, then u will be entitled to 6% immediately at Quill Pj. I got mine free with Llumnar 4.

Close relative can, but "friends" can also meh? That would be cool if "friends" can also be entitled for the 6% corporate discount. As far as I was informed, in order to be eligible for the said 6% corporate discount, one needs to procure a letter from the HR department of the eligible company registered with the particular BMW dealers as prove that the person is an employee or close relative of the said company. So question is whether the Company, in this case Maybank, is willing to issue such letter to all supposed "friends" of the employee.

everyone also can easily find a "friend" who is working in Maybank, rite? especially when u r applying a car loan from Maybank, then just ask the officer becomes your "friend" la.......:burnout:

i been through the process of this fleet purchase. it is not as easy as what the SA always say.

1. If you work in that company, which entitles for fleet discount, then you need a letter from HR to prove that you are working in that company and your name has to be in that letter. BMW malaysia will not approve letter from your supervisor, or even your company CEO. Has to be only HR, and your name on it. Usually all the company HR is quite kiasi, they will tell you that they can only certify the employee, not the friend, relative, nor the husband. They dont want to bare the responsible if anything goes wrong (it can be some sort of guarantee letter for some cases).

2. If your wife is working in the the company, which entitles for fleet discount, then the letter with your wife's name is sufficient. You need to show the letter from your wife HR, and your marriage cert to prove she is your wife.

3. If you are insurance agent, then you need to get a letter from the company HR to prove you are the agent. My insurance agent friend told me that it is subject to the level in the insurance company. For ING, it has to be manager and above in order for the company to give you that letter.

As spoken, we are always pleased to offer you the fleet discount. However, we require confirmation letter of employment issued by HR due to audit issue.

As long as there is HR letter, we have no issue to offer the fleet discount.

I had a 6% fleet discount and got Wingard tint for the car.

To clarify on the fleet discount... HR needs to issue in Company letterhead to confirm that you are a staff and your position in the Company. It is clearly stated in the letter that the fleet discount is only applicable for new cars and not pre-registered vehicles.

In addition to that, I was told by my SA that the fleet discount is only available per person per year. Meaning since I bought my car using the fleet discount this year, I can only utilize the fleet discount again next year if I were to buy another BMW.

I get my car from AB. No any cash rebate at this moment, thats why thinking wait until 2013 ,pre reg 2012 car.
