3M 4mil tinting via Ingress? Have you confirmed on the installer who will be doing the tinting? as far as I know 3M doesn't offer any 4mil film in the market.

Basically the SA promised me to put darker tint on 4 windows and the rear windscreen. The front will remain as legal visibility.

She showed me her mazda 6 which was tinted with 3m as well and said I will receive the same.

From my POV, i will request to be there when the car is sent for tinting. i wnt to make sure those jokers dont forget to replace a screw.

Honestly, my reason for getting BMW Ingress to get the tinting done is cause I dont want any problems to crop up and they blame it on incorrect tinting.



If the window motor dies or wtv, ill just say, i collected the car with the tint on. If anything went wrong, its on you.. not me ..

So basically you just top up additional RM300 for a safety tint (4 mil) on top of a free 3m tinting (which series?)
That's sound like a good deal provided you get the best series from 3M film which is Crystalline (which cost easily RM2000) and not those lower range or even not a original 3M film.

I need to check on the authenticity of the 3M tinting.

But the SA gave me the following

Front
VLT 50%
UVR 99%
IRR 66%

Sides and Back
VLT 40%
UVR 99%
IRR 66A%
4 mil security for sides only
