What engine shoudl i use to upgrade my M20 E30 320i

RM2k can.... if you can find cheap engine and do everything urself... Then again, you'll definitely blow the RM2k budget along the way...

If the bottom block is changed, will it affect the gearbox? Will it improve FC as the car is less sluggish and requires less pressure on the gas pedal?

What bottom block can use for m40 1.8?

aiya...takkan 6k kot...i dont really care about performance and stuff, just that my engine now the cam is out la, bunyi engine macam diesel engine pulak, tappet also cannot adjust anymore....

shoudl i just do proper overhaul or put in a new engine altogether..

or...you can have my timing chain engine. tough and reliable!!! Good FC RM20 can hit 120km++...you want?

I changed my e30 timing belt with my mechanic

Labor RM100
Timing belt RM80

Is this a fair price?...

You can get an engine from about 2k, but why bother with going from 2ltr l-jet to 2ltr motronic. For the same amt of money may as well get 2.5ltr.
