I noticed one of my headlight bulb (passenger side) was out of order so I changed it, but only lasted for 1 day before it went out again... any idea what causes the headlight bulb to blow? All my other lights are working.

Aiyaa.. very simple lah.. The connection for the negative side which is connected to the body is loose.. check this cable lug and make sure that it have a firm grip on the body of the headlamp. Change the cable lug if there is sign of burnt mark...

The reason for the bulb to blow is due the loose contact. it will cause the bulb to repeatly switch "ON and OFF" when the car is running. This will cause the lifespan of the bulb to be decreased drastically.

good luck..

thank you! I did touch the bulb with my hands, will that cause anything to go wrong? Will try to check the connectors too.

Yup, never touch the bulb with bare hand..(see instruction).
& try ur best to get the ori bulb. Some people say that even Hella bulb got Taiwan one.. so try to get the Germany one(How? all hella bulb got Made In Germany, kan??) hahaha!!i oso donno :dunno:
Sifus here...plis help..
-but this one wrkshp recommended me to use Wurth which is surely from Germany & no imitation or what so ever..( if he tipu,i tipu laa)
but so far..ok laa.

It is also possible that the wires are in contact with each other.
Same thing happened to me - one my my cool blue bulbs blew after one day because the wire touched.
So when I changed to PIAA, l made sure the seller gave me 6 months warranty on the bulb otherwise it might be an expensive affair.

never touch the bulb. if you do, clean it with alcohol. But in your case I think the connection are loose. do check it out

Cannot touch bulb? Never knew that! So have to use cloth or gloves when installing? Man, learn something new everyday!
