Weird Sound From Engine

Hi sifus,
Today after i went back from kajang to subang, i feel there is something wrong. When i slow down at corner and accelerate back there is a weird sound at engine. I stop my car open bonnet and tekan accelerator. There is sound coming from engine like "krik krik". The more i accelerate the more stronger the weird sound. Personally felt piston something wrong. Any workshop nearby subang or sunway area to check it out? If really piston wear out then a good workman need to handle it and dowan cut throat tho. Need some advice guys.

Get it check out first and ask for quote. Think about it and ask for second opinion if the quote is not to your expectation.

It isn't the piston....if it is so, then your engine would have stopped running. Most likely the sound is from a worn alternator bearing.

Thanks for advice herbert but i just changed new alternator couple of months ago.

After herbert advices, i do recheck on the bearing and found the belt half came out of the bearing wheel!!!lucky never putus.

The alternator bearing is bad causing the belt to be out of position. Better replace the bearing (about RM 150).
