alamak.... go look under some japanese/local car la.. sure got one...
the a cylindrical thingy with wire weave (flexi).

Normally for Bimmer... they don't use it if new i.e. the exh. manifold is tubed direct to the silencer and cat. convertor. I use it coz, to dampened the vibrations (exhaust manifold in old cars does not sit nicely(when being driver) to the block hence cause leakage and torque loss). No $$$ leh to change nice shinny exhaust lerrr....

Bukan motosikal punya bunyi larr...the sampe taken from bmw noise sample. Mine one producing that kind of noise at rpm 1000 to 1500. I guess you have a different type of noise on your car.
