water temp indicator rise to red level

hi guy ,i hv e46 318i my problem water temperature indicator rise to red level when i just start my car.if radiator leak or water level in minimum level the the indicator no too fast reach red level. I check water level in good condition.Pls sifu help me.

Could be your thermostat is stuck at closed position, another possibility is water pump already kaput.

bro, have you bleed the radiator system properly when topping up the radiator?

You might have an airlock in your radiator.

overheating in BMW engines is a very bad thing....as it could warp the head...make sure you solve it before driving further.
