we ship by ourselves or they ship?

as i know used parts cannot be shipped directly to indonesia, it will be delivered to singapore first. differ from brand new parts they can ship directly.

i need a lot of parts.. but i cant bring back alot if i go by plane.

any info of forwarder that can ship directly to indonesia?

thanks

the seller can ship it for you ...they can use DHL , surereach , citylink , posmalaysia ...shipping parts directly to indonesia ...i believe there is no restictions right ..as long as taxes are paid ....

shipping used parts via singapore is one option. the other way is to have the used parts shipment pre-approved by sucofindo. sucofindo will appoint SGI in M'sia to check and varify first the used parts prior to shipping out. whole process takes about a week to approved by sucofindo. once approved, you may ship out the cargo.

if you ship out the used parts cargo without approval, you will have to reexport/import cargo via singapore (prior to customs declaration). bringing in the used parts shipment without prior approval and later declaring the used parts shipment as "new" will have your shipment compounded by customs and detention can take months, incurring huge storage and demurrage charges in the process. even after getting "approval" from the indonesian ministry of trade, the customs may still refuse to release the shipment because the customs book says approval from sucofindo and no other party so you have a neither here nor there situation where you can't re-export and you can't re-import. in indonesia...customs is "king".

the above is based on personal experience for shipment via seafreight, full container load. I am a freght forwarding agent. to bring the used parts in, you must contact sucofindo and make the necessary arrangements. shipping by airfreight will cost you a bomb. why not use seafreight instead of airfreight? if your parts are lesser than 50kgs , courier service will be a better option. (rule of thumb only)

no worries bro. you must get prior approval from sucofindo before importing the spare parts and not when the shipment has arrived into indonesia. not sure, if you will need to get sucofindo's approval if shipment is via courier. do contact the people in sucofindo for more information. they are very helpful. cheers!
