always only buy from good sellers with good reviews, and always insist on tracking for your shipping.
tax is on the declared value and the POSTAGE. does not matter if its used, second hand or listed as a gift.
if its a car part, then it get taxed. try listing it as something other than a car part..... i have gotten away with a fridge compressor....
Yeah, I once was stopped because the box is big and has BMW in the description. At that point the value on the slip doesn't matter anymore, brought the paypal invoice to prove that it is really below rm500 and that I hit a bargain on ebay.
