Hi All,I recently ditched my RFT for a sets of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2.http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Goodyear/Eagle-F1-Asymmetric-2.htm1st impression ==> COMFORT and driving quality not so harsh anymore :top:2nd impression ==> Tyre sidewall not as stiff as my previous RFT (Bridgestone Potenza) but cornering quality at high speed still :rock:3rd impression ==> WET Performance as good and stable as previous (drives a lot under heavy rain in MEX) :burnout:4th impression ==> Although thread line not as aggressive as Directional 5... but handling certainly aint any lousier. In fact, I think it is pretty good. No regrets so far. AS 2 is considered Goodyear's Ultra High Performance category (if Paul Tan's review is correct la :tomato:)5th impression ==> this is not RFT and thus I have a lil' bit of worry if unfortunate to pick up nail or sharp object along the way... thus.... I got myself the Michellin Electric pump just in case. I carry it around just in case puncture so that I can temporarily pump it back up and send to the nearest workshop as my tires is not RFT... so no worries about specialist workshop.MY question here is... have anyone tried the Tyre Guardian or any latex based sealant that would not destroy your tyre.Tyre Guardian ==> www.tyreguardian.comThis is because I want to have the added protection of an instant sealant that would not destroy the tyres like other foam based sealant.Appreciate users of such product to share their experience...

seems good.prevention better than cure (especially at nowhere,in the middle of the night) right.
but is there any cons for this product?
we won't really know if our tyre is already nailed isn't it.
i might consider this,as i do a lot of travel on shitty surfaces (the east coast route)

Hi, can i just check with you how much is the michelin electric pump? Thinking of forsaking my rft too once the thread is worn :) Why didnt u get the slime thingy? just cusrious

How different is this product from the tire puncture gel that is contained in the BMW mobility kit.

Me want to know as well...

look good , the type guardian. please tell how much it cost i may want to consider it after my RFT is used also maybe i do my wife SUV for it first now my continental emegency tyre repair kit / ala BMW mobility kit is in her car now.

u guys can get the mobility kit from quiksave for less than 200, it comes with the sealant and electric pump.

ASM2 is a pretty good tire once you properly run it in but side wall is abit soft so initial turn in is not as precise.
but once in the corner is grips pretty well and it handles well in the wet with balance comfort and noise.
well worth the price compared to csc5p or pss which is like 40-50% more X

Got the pump for around RM180 i think... can't remember.

As for the Slime thingy... I have no experience with it. Anyone here mind to share? (Do you have to dispose your tire after that?)

As for the Tyre Guardian thingy... the fact that it was post-fill after tyre balancing makes it seems attractive enough that it will work straight away just like RFT. I prefer that than those foam based injection stuffs. I also happen to come across the BMW mobility kit thingy (saw it inside the M3's boot)... is it the same function as Tyre Guardian? Anyone mind to assist me in the clarification?

Thanks.

Exactly like what I thought... side wall slightly softer (could be the reason why it is much more comfortable than my previous RFT)

Tried Tyre Guardian on my new michelin. already7k. no complaints. cornering is as good as rft. driving is more comfortable than rft and much, much more quieter. but the diff i felt most is i dont have to add air from the day i add the tyre guardian. before this, i have to top up air pressure at least once a month, normally twice a month. I even checked if there were any pinholes. eventho the workshop confirm no holes, i still have to top up the air pressure. not anymore once i had tyreguardian. i did it RM50 per tyre in sri hartamas.
