Did you get to ask how much did his cost? And Obermaier's aint the BMW performance ones rite?

Exhaust = RM4.4k
Intake = RM3.4k

But that is a coupla months back. For newer prices, you gotta ask Obermeier, or Stuttgart. But my suggestion is keep your moolah for now, save up a few more, then go both at the some time.

Good things happen to those who wait. :top:

But i thought it was always better to go part by part then u can feel the diff individually. Rather than going both at once, then u wouldnt really know which mod actually contributed more...

Racun Maximum!

bro whiteknight88

at last we see some nice pics of yr ride. Looks good after the mods. Did u feel any difference after adding the BMW Performance Filter & BMW Exhaust System? After running in for 3 weeks, you should be able to gv us some reviews.

Now where's the missing BMW Performance Front Strut Bar...? Ah not forgetting the 'yellow bananas' BMW Performance 6-pot Brakes...Power is nothing without control...

Cheers.

bro gilajazz... it's all thanks to u & ur freakin poison :D

After adding the intakes, it was fantastic.. nice growl & better response, loved it.

But after installing the US spec Performance Exhaust (with midpipe), i felt the response was slower, only kicked in after 3.5k RPM or so :( But got a lot of vroom vroom sound... Unfortunately, too much air rushing through the mid-pipes (these exhaust was designed for 330 & 335 wan :p) causing additional vibrations and additional unnecessary noise... so ....... last week I put back the original resonator but kept the performance mufflers and now all is good. No more exhaust vroom vroom but also no more additional vibration & unwanted noise so it's all good. And the initial response is now back to normal.

Oh and err.... i'm slowly filling up my piggy bank with 50cent coins so I can get the strut bar & beloved yellow bananas. But it'll take some time for kuli kia like me la... kekeke :p

bro whiteknight,

always glad to help a brother 'in-need'...hehe...all it takes is 3 months of savings and Im sure u get there. Honestly the brakes are damn god for that price. Ask SunnyPuan, we were in his car last weekend coming back and his 'emergency' brake helped us fr rear-ending the car in front bcos of sudden braking...thank God for BMW performance brakes!

I think its a good idea too to keep the resonator & do away with the mid pipes. Less vibration and not sounding like a souped-up fast & furious supra.

Cheers.

thanks & u got me... they're replicas. they came in this color... only had to top up 1k++ after trading in my 193M so... couldn't resist it :p

bro whiteknight,

I think the CF hood looks better, more bling-bling and black with the carbon weave really stands out in daylight. Its from which manufacturer? And how much? Its looks like its on a E92 M3, so does it fit yr 325i coupe? Pls share with all of us.

Cheers.

quoted around 3k from GC Motorsports (thanks to Astroboy). Dunno if it'll fit my 325i but no more steam for this project... wan the yellow bananas 1st :p

by the way, both hoods come in Carbon Fiber just that he only had pic of the one with paint ;)

All bros, need advice on BBK for E90 LCI.

Current rim is Replica BBS RS-GT, front 8.5jj +35 with 8mm spacer, Rear is 9.5jj +28 no spacer, rear almost rubbing wheel arch.

Buying Brembo GT BBK 6 pot 380mm front and rear 4 pot 380mm. Do you guys think this set up will clear? This kit is made only for E90M3, as for E90, the rear is only 345mm.

Custom bracket needed to get this install in E90. So installing is not a problem.

Thanks

SMG330i,

Your front and rear brake caliper will defiantly fit, no worries.

Your front rim offset is +27mm and rear +28mm, the front caliper over hang is 35mm and rear 29mm.
Doesn't look like it will be a problem.

If you still don't feel confident, you can simply unmount your rim and measure the distance between the flange and the web.

The specs are linked bellow.

Btw, by adding BBK, your acceleration will be compromised. The added rotational mass will reduce torque efficiency.

Hi there Melvyn,

THat's quite an info there bro. hahaha... But, too complicated for me to understand. Hopefully it'll fit. The kit is on the way.
Keep it low when you're back to Penang. Don't want the one in the house to know the price. Hahahaha... Take care there ya.!
