hey you guys, after my fuel tank is resolved..i feel that i need to change my tires as well. do u think that 205/55/R16 is too big for my 16x7.5 rims? or should i just stick to my 205/50/R16 set up. im currently on h&R lowered set up. im also looking for a place to get good priced absorbers for my e30m40. thanks for ur help!

I have H&R sport springs and 16x7.5 as well. 205/50/16 is the right size, or you can opt for the much pricier 225/45/16 if you want more dry grip. :D

205/50/16 at the front is already a whisper away from touching the plastic fender lining, so 205/55/16 would definitely rub when turning I think.

I am currently using Dunlop LM 703, 205/50/16 is just nice and comfortable. Previous set up was Michelin 225/45/16 A Drive, for me it was really nice to drive on a dry day but bad on a wet day. The ride was rough over small pot holes. Btw I am using Bilstein Black absorbers and Eibach Pro kit suspensions. It terms of handling over corners on a dry day.... 45 is nicer then 50.. but i ve never tried 55... so i cant say much.

I'm actually on 205/45/16 Falken 912s now. I personally find them uncomfortable (probably due to lower profile + reinforced sidewalls) and in terms of dry grip, not that great.
Will be switching to 205/50/16 RE001 tomorrow. :D

I'm using 205/55/16 RE001 for my Civic 06 and all I can tell is that Potenza is fantastic tyre.
